Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Academic Advisor based in Bengaluru, India. The Academic Advisor will provide personalized guidance to students, support their educational and career goals, assist with academic planning, and offer resources for career exploration. The role requires effective counseling, advising, and continuous communication with students to address academic and career-related concerns. The advisor will also collaborate closely with educators, parents, and staff to optimize student success and foster growth in their learning journey.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Student Counseling, Career Counseling, and Academic Advising
- Excellent Communication skills, with an emphasis on active listening and providing clear guidance
- Experience or knowledge in the field of Education with an ability to assist students in academic planning
- Empathy, problem-solving skills, and a student-centric approach
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including students, educators, and parents
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, or related field (advanced degrees or certifications in academic advising or counseling are a plus)
- Previous experience in academic advising or a similar role is preferred
