Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Academic Advisor to join our team on-site at our Gurugram location. The Academic Advisor will assist students in achieving their educational goals by providing guidance on academic planning, course selection, and career pathways. This role involves counseling students on curriculum options, monitoring academic progress, facilitating workshops or sessions, and addressing concerns to enhance the student experience. As a core point of contact for students, the Academic Advisor will collaborate with faculty, staff, and parents to ensure a supportive learning environment conducive to success.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to help students make informed decisions about their academic and professional paths.
- Proficiency in Academic Advising and Education to guide students through course selections and learning strategies.
- Excellent Communication skills, including verbal and written abilities, to engage effectively with students, parents, and faculty.
- Experience in mentoring or coaching and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with education technology tools or platforms is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred but not required.
- Prior experience in academic advising or student services is highly desirable.
