Job Description – Academic Counselor
Organization: Genesis Kreations Media Academy
Location: Okkiyam Thuraipakkam, Chennai
Employment Type: Full-Time
Working Days: Monday to Friday | 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Experience: 1–2 years
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Key Responsibilities
● Counsel prospective students and parents about courses and career opportunities.
● Handle admission enquiries through calls, WhatsApp, email, and walk-ins.
● Follow up with leads and guide them through the admission process.
● Achieve admission goals through consistent follow-up and relationship building.
● Maintain enquiry and admission records using CRM/Excel.
● Coordinate with faculty and the academic team for smooth onboarding.
● Support seminars, workshops, educational events, and admission campaigns.
● Provide excellent customer service throughout the student journey.
Requirements
● Any bachelor's degree.
● 1–2 years of experience in academic counseling, admissions, education, or customer-facing roles.
● Excellent communication skills in Tamil and English.
● Strong interpersonal, counseling, and organizational skills.
● Basic knowledge of MS Office/Google Workspace.
