Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chandigarh for an Academic Advisor. The Academic Advisor will be responsible for providing guidance and support to students in selecting courses, planning their academic journey, and exploring career opportunities. Daily tasks include student counseling, career planning, academic advising, and providing support to help students achieve their educational and professional goals. The role involves collaborating with students, faculty, and staff to create a positive learning experience.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to guide students in academic and professional pathways
- Strong Communication skills to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues
- Experience in Academic Advising and Education to effectively support students’ learning journeys
- Organizational and interpersonal skills to manage and prioritize student needs
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus
- Empathy and patience to understand and address individual student challenges
- Knowledge of current trends in AI-driven learning and digital learning tools is an advantage
