Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru for an Academic Advisor/Academic Counsellor. The role involves guiding students by providing academic and career counseling, helping them navigate their educational journey and achieve their goals. Responsibilities include understanding students' aspirations, offering tailored advice, and assisting with course selection. The Academic Advisor will engage in effective communication with students and parents in both English and Hindi, providing direction and support throughout their academic pursuits.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Student Counseling and Academic Advising to guide students on their educational paths
- Strong Communication skills, including fluency in English and Hindi, to effectively interact with diverse individuals
- Experience in Career Counseling to assist students in identifying and pursuing appropriate career opportunities
- Understanding of educational systems and practices to provide accurate and relevant advice
- Ability to build trust and rapport with students and their families
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field
- Previous experience in academic advising or counseling roles is highly advantageous
