Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Academic Admission Counsellor, located in Kolkata. The counsellor will guide prospective students and their families through the admission process, provide detailed information about academic programs, and help them make informed decisions. Responsibilities include responding to inquiries, offering personalized advice, conducting admission-related presentations, and collaborating with academic teams to ensure smooth onboarding for admitted students. Strong interpersonal communication is key to fostering trust and building relationships with candidates.
Qualifications
- Strong Interpersonal Communication and Communication skills to effectively interact with students and families
- Customer Service skills to meet prospective students' needs and provide a high-quality experience
- Sales acumen to engage potential candidates and navigate the admission process strategically
- Understanding of the Education sector and its requirements is highly desirable
- Ability to work collaboratively, maintain organizational professionalism, and guide candidates with empathy
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; experience in admission counselling is a plus
