Responsibilities
Generally responsible for on-site operations of the parking office. Job duties may include working closely with location staff and supervisor, overseeing parking supplies and inventory, selling validations, completing daily and monthly reports, making daily deposits, providing excellent customer service to tenants and visitors, covering for staff time off and breaks, walking the garage daily and keeping the parking equipment functioning. Additional duties may include cash transactions associated with daily and monthly parking customers, matching customer’s ticket to parking rate schedule; collecting money from customer’s; accounting accurately for daily transactions; performing customer courtesy functions; may perform other duties to ensure productive operations, quality service, client and customer satisfaction; may perform parking attendant and garage maintenance functions. Qualifications
EDUCATION/TRAINING/LICENSE (S) REQUIRED:
High School education or equivalent, previous cashier and/ or customer service training is helpful. Driver’s license required for this parking location as a valet for overflow parking coverage.
EXPERIENCE/JOB KNOWLEDGE:
Previous accounting/bookkeeping experience. Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets. A history of working in the public service industry, a solid employment record and previous experience handling cash preferred. Basic arithmetic skills are necessary.
