Associate Demand Field Service Technician Trainee

Demand Field Service Technician Trainee's perform service in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines. You will be in close cooperation with customers and other ABB teams, acting as the technical point while delivering quality service. As a Demand Field Service Technician Trainee's in Greater Houston, TX or Lake Charles to Baton Rouge, LA you will be required to work independently and as part of a team based on customer/contract requirements. You will be mainly accountable for: Performing entry level field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performs analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products. Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities. Executing work on a first-time right approach with customers, and ensuring the job is done on time and as per quality standards. Troubleshooting simple equipment failures and making recommendations to avoid such issues in the future.
