UI/UX Designer

We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer with 2 to 3 years of focused experience in website design to lead the redesign and enhancement of Abacus websites. The ideal candidate should be adept at creating intuitive, visually engaging, and functional web experiences that captivate global audiences.

This is a short-term contractual position that requires prior experience in corporate website design projects, with a strong emphasis on HubSpot expertise. You will be instrumental in ensuring the website reflects our brand identity, communicates our values, and delivers seamless, user-friendly digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Website Design & Development

• Design user-centric, responsive, and visually engaging layouts optimized for various devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).
• Develop interactive prototypes, wireframes, and mockups for key web pages and user flows.
• Leverage HubSpot to implement, manage, and enhance website content and functionality.
• Ensure technical feasibility of designs through close collaboration with developers.
• Integrate SEO best practices, accessibility standards, and performance optimization techniques into designs.
• Quickly develop and implement interactive modules for dynamic and functional web experiences.
  
  
  

User Research & Testing

• Conduct research to understand user needs, behaviors, and preferences for improved website experiences.
• Implement and analyze user testing methodologies (e.g., A/B testing, usability testing) to refine designs.
• Continuously iterate on website designs based on user insights, analytics, and feedback.
  
  
  

Collaboration & Communication

• Collaborate with marketing, product, and development teams to ensure designs align with strategic goals.
• Present design concepts, prototypes, and updates to leadership for feedback and approval.
• Partner with content teams to seamlessly integrate visuals and copy for cohesive storytelling.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2 to 3 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, specializing in website design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing responsive web designs, prototypes, and user-centric projects, with a preference for HubSpot CMS experience.
• Proven experience in corporate or global website design projects for multinational companies or leading agencies.
• Expertise in HubSpot CMS for website content management and module development.
• Proficiency in design tools like Adobe XD, Figma, and Sketch.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and collaboration with developers for web implementation.
• Knowledge of SEO principles, performance optimization, and web accessibility guidelines (WCAG).
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design decisions effectively.
