Job Title: Ab Initio Developer

Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced Ab Initio Developers to join a dynamic data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Ab Initio development, data processing, and working with large-scale data environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data processing systems using Ab Initio
- Work on end-to-end ETL development and data integration processes
- Develop and optimize Ab Initio graphs using various transformation components
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirement analysis and solution design
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing data pipelines
- Ensure high performance and scalability of data processing systems
Required Skills & Experience:
Ab Initio Expertise:
- Strong understanding of Ab Initio Architecture
- Hands-on experience with:
- Co>Operating System
- GDE (Graphical Development Environment)
- EME (Enterprise Metadata Environment)
- Application Hub
- Working knowledge of Control Center and Conduct>It
Technical Skills:
- Transformation components: Reformat, Rollup, Scan, Normalize
- Database components: Input Table, Output Table, Update Table, Run SQL
- Experience with I/O components and flat file processing
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience working with XML data
- Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux environments
- Exposure to Hadoop ecosystem (Hive, Hadoop, HDFS)
Good to Have:
- Experience with scheduling tools such as TWS or Autosys
- Understanding of Big Data architecture
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS)
- Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts
