Feel free to enrich both your personal and work life and hop onboard! WHY YOU'LL LOVE THIS JOB: The Engineer, Fleet is part of the PSA Tech Ops Division of the PSA Tech Services Center. This role involves working with a wide range of aircraft systems, maintenance programs and engines, developing solutions to maintaining the safety of PSA's fleet, and collaborating cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement, WHAT YOU'LL DO: This list is intended to reflect the current job but there may be additional essential functions (and certainly non-essential job functions) that are not referenced. Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations. Provide engineering support for a wide range of aircraft systems, maintenance programs, engines, and operational engineering functions Analyze and seek solutions to design, operation, maintenance, performance, or repair of aircraft and their components Develop solutions and implementation plans, project justification, cost/benefit analysis, and overall management of project implementation Coordinate with FAA for approvals and warranty recovery on Service Bulletins (SBs) Review SBs from airframe and component manufacturers for effectivity to PSA Fleet Provide 24/7/365 Engineering support for the PSA Liaison Engineering team on a rotational basis Other duties as assigned by Tech Services leadership Must be willing and able to travel 10% of the time, as needed, to the PSA Headquarters ALL YOU'LL NEED FOR SUCCESS Minimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience: Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field 3 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, engineering, or a related field FAA 121 Airline Operator and associate FARs or equivalent experience Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience: Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field 5+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance, engineering, or a related field Experience with FAA regulations and guidelines or equivalent experience Experience with project management tools and software Skills, Licenses, and Certifications: Strong understanding of aircraft systems, maintenance programs, and engines Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software LANGUAGE / COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels within the organization Physical ability necessary to safely and successfully perform the essential functions of the position, with or without any legally required reasonable accommodations that do not pose an undue hardship.
