We are seeking an experienced <strong>Lead Restoration Technician / Crew Chief</strong> with strong IICRC alignment to oversee field mitigation projects and lead restoration teams in accordance with <strong>IICRC S500 and S700 standards</strong>.<br><br>
</div><div>This role is ideal for a technically skilled restoration professional who understands drying science, leads from the front, and holds teams accountable for quality and compliance.</div><div>
<strong><br>Key Responsibilities<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Lead <strong>water damage restoration, fire and smoke mitigation, and related remediation projects</strong>
</li>
<li>Direct daily jobsite operations for technicians and subcontractors</li>
<li>Perform and verify <strong>moisture inspections, moisture mapping, and psychrometric calculations</strong>
</li>
<li>Determine appropriate drying, cleaning, containment, and deodorization strategies in coordination with Project Management</li>
<li>Set up, monitor, and adjust drying, filtration, and air scrubber equipment</li>
<li>Oversee controlled demolition and removal per approved scope</li>
<li>Enforce PPE usage, containment, and cross-contamination control</li>
<li>Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with <strong>IICRC standards and company SOPs</strong>
</li>
<li>Document moisture readings, equipment placement, job progress, and photos using restoration software</li>
<li>Communicate professionally with customers, adjusters, and internal teams</li>
<li>Train, mentor, and evaluate technicians at all skill levels</li>
</ul><div>
<strong>Required Qualifications<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li>3–5+ years of experience in <strong>restoration, mitigation, or disaster recovery</strong>
</li>
<li>Demonstrated leadership or crew lead experience</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record</li>
<li>Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments</li>
<li>Availability for emergency response and on-call rotation</li>
</ul><div>
<strong>Preferred Qualifications<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li><strong>IICRC WRT and FSRT required; ASD, AMRT, or additional certifications strongly preferred</strong></li>
<li>Strong understanding of <strong>drying science, psychrometrics, and material behavior</strong>
</li>
<li>Experience with insurance-driven restoration and adjuster coordination</li>
<li>Proficiency in restoration documentation and job management software</li>
<li>Experience assisting with job scoping, supplements, and scope validation</li>
