We value both teaching quality and meaningful teacher-student interaction, and we strive to create a professional, supportive, and student-centered learning environment.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br></strong><br> </div><ul> <li>Teach one or more AP humanities courses, including AP U.S. History, AP European History, AP World History, AP Human Geography, AP Micro and Macro Economics, AP Language and Literature, and/or AP Psychology </li> <li> Help students develop a strong understanding of key concepts, themes, and course content </li> <li> Guide students in mastering AP exam requirements, including analytical writing, argumentation, and critical thinking </li> <li> Develop lesson plans tailored to students’ academic levels and learning goals </li> <li> Assign and review homework, essays, and practice work, and provide timely feedback to students and parents when needed </li> <li> Support students in improving exam-taking strategies </li> <li> Contribute to curriculum planning and instructional improvement when necessary </li> </ul><div> <strong>Qualifications<br></strong><br> </div><ul> <li> Bachelor’s degree in history, psychology, geography, social sciences, or a related humanities field (required) </li> <li> Previous teaching or tutoring experience in an educational setting (required) </li> <li> Familiarity with AP curricula and AP-style assessments (required) </li> <li> Ability to teach multiple AP humanities subjects preferred </li> <li> Strong English reading, writing, and communication skills </li> <li> Responsible, patient, and detail-oriented, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly </li> <li> Passion for education and the ability to engage and motivate students </li> </ul><div> <strong>Preferred Qualifications<br></strong><br> </div><ul> <li> Experience preparing students for AP exams across multiple humanities subjects </li> <li> Familiarity with DBQ, LEQ, SAQ, FRQs, or data-based analysis </li> <li> Background in history, education, political science, psychology, geography, or related fields</li> </ul><div> <strong>What We Are Looking For<br></strong><br> </div><div>We are looking for a versatile and experienced humanities teacher who can teach across multiple AP subjects and help students achieve strong exam results.
