<strong>Job Description</strong><br><br>
</div><div>A+1 Academy is looking for an experienced <strong>AP Chemistry Teacher</strong> to join our teaching team. We are seeking someone who is familiar with the AP Chemistry curriculum and can help high school students build strong conceptual understanding, problem-solving skills, and AP exam strategies.<br><br>
</div><div>
<strong>Responsibilities</strong><br><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Teach AP Chemistry small-group or 1-on-1 classes</li>
<li>Prepare students for the AP Chemistry exam, including MCQ and FRQ practice</li>
<li>Explain key topics clearly, such as atomic structure, chemical bonding, kinetics, equilibrium, thermodynamics, acids and bases, and electrochemistry</li>
<li>Help students improve calculation accuracy, lab-based reasoning, data interpretation, and experimental design skills</li>
<li>Provide class feedback and communicate student progress when needed</li>
<li>Prepare lesson materials or adapt existing curriculum based on student needs</li>

<strong>Qualifications</strong><br><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Strong background in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related field</li>
<li>Prior AP Chemistry teaching or tutoring experience preferred</li>
<li>Familiarity with AP Chemistry exam format and College Board expectations</li>
<li>Able to teach in person in Irvine, CA preferred</li>
<li>Responsible, patient, and good at working with high school students</li>
<li>Experience with Chemistry Olympiad or other chemistry competitions is a plus</li>
