Role Description
We are seeking a full-time 5G O-RAN Testing Engineer for our on-site location in Bengaluru South. In this role, you will be responsible for performing exhaustive 5G O-RAN testing, including integration, functional, and performance testing of RAN systems. You will ensure compliance with the latest O-RAN specifications, configure and deploy test environments, collect and analyze data logs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues. In addition, you will document test plans, create test automation scripts, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
- Strong experience with 5G technologies, O-RAN architecture, and network configuration
- Hands-on knowledge in RF testing, protocol testing, and troubleshooting wireless communication systems
- Proficient in tools such as Wireshark, XCAL, or similar for debugging and analyzing system logs
- Experience with scripting languages like Python or Linux shell scripting
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and test case automation
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field
- Previous hands-on experience in O-RAN or telecom testing is a significant advantage
