<strong>Position Summary<br></strong><br>

<div>525 Technologies is seeking a skilled and reliable <strong>Field Technician</strong> to support camera installations, low-voltage cabling, and access control systems for school systems. This role requires hands-on technical experience, the ability to work with <strong>minimal supervision</strong>, and a strong commitment to professionalism when representing our company on customer sites.<br><br>

<strong>Key Responsibilities<br></strong><br>

<li>Install, configure, and service:<br><br><ul>
<li>Security cameras (IP and related hardware)<br><br>
</li>
<li>Low-voltage cabling and infrastructure<br><br>
</li>
<li>Access control systems<br><br>
</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Perform on-site work at schools and educational facilities<br><br>
</li>
<li>Read and follow installation plans, diagrams, and scope documents<br><br>
</li>
<li>Troubleshoot and resolve installation or connectivity issues<br><br>
</li>
<li>Communicate clearly and professionally with school staff and administrators<br><br>
</li>
<li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment<br><br>
</li>
<li>Represent 525 Technologies in a professional and respectful manner at all times<br><br>
</li>
<li>Document work performed and report job status as required<br><br>
</li>
</ul>

<strong>Required Qualifications<br></strong><br>
</div>
<ul>
<li>Prior experience with <strong>camera installations, low-voltage work, or access control systems<br></strong><br>
</li>
<li>Ability to work independently with <strong>minimal supervision<br></strong><br>
</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills<br><br>
</li>
<li>Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license<br><br>
</li>
<li>Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and in ceiling spaces as required<br><br>
</li>
<li>Professional demeanor when working in school environments<br><br>
</li>
</ul>

<strong>Preferred Qualifications<br></strong><br>
</div>

<li>Experience working in <strong>schools, colleges, or public-sector facilities<br></strong><br>
</li>
<li>Familiarity with structured cabling standards<br><br>
</li>
<li>Access control or security system certifications (a plus, not required)<br><br>
</li>
<li>Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, PoE, switches)<br><br>
