🔎 About the Role
We are hiring a Senior Python Tester for a leading investment bank, working on a Trade Surveillance platform. This role involves data-driven testing, automation, and domain-heavy validation in a fast-paced capital markets environment.
🚀 Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product, project, and development teams to understand requirements and testing objectives
- Coordinate effectively between onshore & offshore teams
- Perform SQL-based data analysis and validation
- Design and execute test cases, test scripts, and test data
- Develop and enhance test automation frameworks using PyTest & Selenium
- Participate in defect triaging, debugging, and root cause analysis
- Ensure quality across web applications and backend data layers
✅ Mandatory Skills
- 5–9 years of experience in Python-based test automation
- Strong expertise in PyTest framework
- Hands-on experience with Selenium automation
- Good knowledge of SQL and data validation techniques
- Experience in Banking / Capital Markets projects
- Strong understanding of the Trade Lifecycle
- Domain experience in at least one:
- Equities
- Fixed Income
- FX Options
- Commodities
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
⭐ Good to Have
- PySpark exposure
- Knowledge of Trade Surveillance systems
- Regulatory awareness: MiFID, MAR, CAT, Dodd Frank
