Looking for individuals with 3+ years of experience in telecom network development. Candidate will contribute to 4G Core development including understanding 3GPP documents, coding, unit testing and debugging in a cloud native environment. C programming will be the main technology used in this project.
Skills Required
3+ years of experience in 3G/4G/5G core network including deep knowledge of various network entities and their communication protocols.
Well-versed with various call flow scenarios, such as UE registration, security mode procedure, PDU session, paging, NAS procedures, etc.
Expert in object-oriented programming and deep hands-on experience in at least one object-oriented programming language. Experience with C programming
Familiar in writing the unit tests for existing code and debug/fix them.
Strong debugging skills with hands on handling 4g and 5g core network call flows.
Strong understanding of API-first design and the best practices towards designing scalable and reliable applications.
Familiar with cloud computing paradigm, architecture and tools. Experience with Kubernetes and other cloud native technologies is desirable.
Strong problem-solving skills, logical skills and quick identification of issues.
Familiar with 3GPP specifications and the overall specifications process.
Responsibilities
Understand 3GPP requirements with respect to 4G Core and translate them to product development.
Write code for individual 4G Core Network Functions. Write also accompanying unit tests.
Collaborate with other developers to write and execute integration tests as necessary. Work with external partners for interoperability testing.
In a senior role, guide junior team members and review their work.
