About the Role
We are looking for a talented and creative 3D & Texture Artist with strong expertise in creating realistic and stylized textures, materials, and 3D assets for games, simulations, visualization, and digital experiences. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Substance Painter, Substance Designer, Blender, and Photoshop, along with a strong understanding of PBR workflows and optimization techniques.
The candidate will work closely with designers, developers, and artists to produce high-quality 3D assets and textures optimized for real-time and offline rendering pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality 3D models, textures, and materials for environments, props, vehicles, products, and assets.
- Develop realistic and procedural textures using Substance Painter and Substance Designer.
- Create optimized UV layouts and texture maps following PBR workflows.
- Produce high-quality texture sets including Albedo, Roughness, Metallic, Normal, AO, and Height maps.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, developers, and creative teams for asset integration.
- Maintain visual consistency and quality across all projects.
- Optimize models and textures for performance in real-time applications.
- Create material libraries and reusable texture assets.
- Perform lighting, rendering, and presentation of assets when required.
- Troubleshoot asset and texture-related issues during production.
- Stay updated with modern workflows, rendering techniques, and industry standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong proficiency in:
- Substance Painter
- Substance Designer
- Blender
- Adobe Photoshop
- Strong understanding of:
- PBR (Physically Based Rendering)
- UV Mapping
- Baking workflows
- Material creation
- Texture optimization
- Experience in creating realistic and stylized textures.
- Knowledge of real-time rendering pipelines.
- Understanding of topology optimization and mesh workflows.
- Familiarity with game engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of lighting, shading, and rendering.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong artistic sense, creativity, and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma / Degree in Animation, Game Design, Fine Arts, Multimedia, or related field.
- Experience working on games, simulations, AR/VR, product visualization, or cinematic projects.
- Knowledge of procedural material workflows.
- Portfolio showcasing 3D models, textures, and material work.
