Key Job Roles & Responsibilities:
- 3D Printing Specialist/Operator: Operates and maintains advanced 3D printers, optimizing models for printing and managing material loading.
- Scale Model Editor/Maker: Specializes in creating detailed architectural prototypes and models for developers and architects.
- Design Engineer - 3D Printing: Prepares files, handles model segmentation for large-format printing, and translates digital designs into physical objects.
- Lab Technician/Computational Designer: Often in educational or design firms, this role merges parametric design with robotic 3D printing. Indeed
Requirements & Preferred Skills:
- Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, SolidWorks, or Fusion 360.
- Technology: Familiarity with FDM, SLA, and large-format printing technologies.
- Experience: 6–8 years of experience in 3D printing, fabrication, or manufacturing roles.
