Role Description
• Work with FDM/FFF 3D printers for assembly, testing, calibration, and validation.
• Operate and optimize slicing software (Cura, OrcaSlicer, PrusaSlicer, etc.) for different materials and applications.
• Gain a thorough understanding of 3D printer hardware, including mechanical, electrical, and motion systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and print-quality issues.
• Install, commission, and demonstrate 3D printers at customer locations.
• Provide on-site and remote technical service and after-sales support to clients.
• Train customers on machine operation, maintenance, and best printing practices.
• Perform preventive maintenance and recommend hardware improvements when required.
• Prepare service reports and maintain installation and support documentation.
• Travel to customer sites for installations, maintenance, and technical support as needed.
Requirements:
• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 6 months–1 year of mechanical design experience.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks/Fusion 360
• Hands on experience of FDM 3D printing.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
