We are looking for a skilled, detail-oriented 3D Printer Operator to take full ownership of our rapid prototyping and pattern-making lab. You will play a crucial role in our product development lifecycle, turning digital designs into physical master patterns used directly for our casting processes.
What You’ll Do- Operate, calibrate, and maintain our suite of 3D printers (FDM, SLA/Resin) on a daily basis.
- Prepare files for printing (slicing, optimizing orientation, generating support structures, and selecting correct infill settings).
- Execute post-processing tasks with high precision (support removal, washing, curing, sanding, and surface prepping master patterns for molding).
- Manage inventory of printing consumables (filaments, resins, spare parts) and troubleshoot hardware issues under tight deadlines.
What We Are Looking For- Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience operating industrial or professional-grade 3D printers.
- Software Skills: Expertise in slicing software (e.g., Cura, Chitubox, PreForm) and basic familiarity with 3D modeling files (STL, STEP, OBJ).
- Attributes: Exceptional patience and attention to detail. You should be a proactive problem-solver who takes pride in a perfectly clean print and an organized workspace.
