Role Description
- Editing Style : 2.5 D and 3D
- Involves creating scenes with a 3D camera in After Effects to give a sense of depth.
- Includes scene creation, either generated from Al or built by combining real assets, and compositing them in After Effects using 3D layers.
- We call this Magnates Media style editing.
- You'll need a strong understanding of camera settings, movements, digital cinematography, lighting, and colour grading to blend elements seamlessly into the background.
- Example channels: MagnetsMedia, Imperial, The Market Exit
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Blender and expertise in creating 3D models using it.
- Skills in Rigging and Animation, including character and object setup, motion, and movement mechanics.
- Experience in Texturing and Lighting, with the ability to create realistic and dynamic visual effects.
- Strong problem-solving, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote team.
- Familiarity with industry-standard workflows and tools; experience in visual effects or game development pipelines is a plus.
- Portfolio showcasing previous 3D projects and expertise in multiple skills.
