Role Description The 3D Furniture Rendering & Product Development Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Jodhpur. This role involves creating detailed 3D renders and visualizations of furniture designs, translating concepts into production-ready models and technical drawings. The designer collaborates with product development, manufacturing, and sales teams to refine designs, align with material constraints, and ensure feasibility for large-scale production. Day-to-day responsibilities include iterating on design concepts, preparing presentation-ready visuals for clients and internal stakeholders, and supporting prototype development through close coordination with workshop and engineering teams. The role also includes researching design trends, contributing to new product collections, and maintaining a consistent visual language across the brand’s portfolio.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Visual Design skills to create compelling 3D furniture renders and clear product visualizations.
- Candidates should possess Design Thinking and Product Design skills to develop functional, manufacturable, and market-ready furniture concepts.
- Candidates should possess User Research and UX Research skills to understand user needs, usage patterns, and ergonomic requirements for furniture design.
- Proficiency in 3D design and rendering software (such as 3ds Max, SketchUp, Rhino, Blender, or similar) and familiarity with CAD tools.
- Understanding of furniture construction, materials (wood, metal, upholstery, finishes), and production processes is highly beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to interpret technical specifications, and readiness to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams on-site.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Industrial Design, Product Design, Furniture Design, Interior Design, or a related field is preferred.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to present design concepts visually and verbally in a clear, structured manner.
