🚀 WE’RE HIRING | CREATIVE DIRECTOR – ORIGINAL 3D ANIMATION SERIES
📍 Location: New Delhi (On-site)

At VSP Black Diamond Media & Production Pvt. Ltd., we’re creating premium-quality original 3D animated IPs designed for global OTT platforms. We’re looking for a visionary Creative Director who can lead the complete creative journey—from concept development to OTT-ready delivery.
This is a leadership role for someone who understands every stage of animation production and can transform ideas into world-class animated series.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
* Lead the complete creative vision of original animated series.
* Develop compelling concepts, story worlds, characters, and franchise universes.
* Create and maintain series bibles, character bibles, visual development guides, and brand guidelines.
* Oversee script development, story structure, pacing, emotional storytelling, and dialogue.
* Direct storyboard artists, concept artists, character designers, environment artists, animators, lighting artists, and editors.
* Review and approve storyboards, animatics, layouts, animation, lighting, FX, rendering, and final edits.
* Ensure consistency in visual style, storytelling, and production quality throughout the series.
* Work closely with production teams to balance creativity with schedules and budgets.
* Mentor creative teams and establish high creative standards.
* Collaborate with music composers, sound designers, voice directors, and post-production teams.
* Participate in investor presentations, OTT pitches, and creative presentations.
* Drive innovation using modern technologies, including AI-assisted workflows where appropriate.
✅ Required Skills & Experience
Creative Leadership
* 10+ years of experience in Animation, Film, Gaming, or OTT content production.
* Proven experience leading large creative teams.
* Exceptional leadership, mentoring, and decision-making skills.
* Strong communication and presentation abilities.
Storytelling & Content Development
* Expertise in cinematic storytelling and screenplay analysis.
* Deep understanding of children’s and family entertainment, along with content suitable for global audiences.
* Ability to build memorable characters, compelling story arcs, and engaging worlds.
* Strong understanding of audience psychology and emotional storytelling.
* Experience developing episodic and long-form content.
Pre-Production Expertise
* Storyboarding

Production Knowledge
Comprehensive understanding of the complete 3D production pipeline:

Technical Knowledge
* Strong understanding of Autodesk Maya
* Experience with Unreal Engine and real-time rendering workflows
* Knowledge of MetaHuman pipelines
* Familiarity with Blender, Substance Painter, ZBrush, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and other industry-standard tools
* Understanding of AI-powered creative workflows is an advantage
OTT & Industry Knowledge
* Strong understanding of OTT content standards and delivery requirements.
* Knowledge of streaming platform expectations, content positioning, and audience engagement.
* Experience creating pitch decks, series bibles, and investor presentations.
* Understanding of IP development, licensing, merchandising, and franchise building.
* Ability to benchmark content against leading international animation studios.
