Job Overview
VNS Creative Agency is looking for a talented 3D Character Animator with a passion for creating high-quality animations for commercials, product films, CGI campaigns, anamorphic displays, and digital experiences. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of character movement, acting, timing, and storytelling while delivering realistic and engaging animations.
Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality 3D character animations for commercial projects.
- Animate realistic human, animal, and stylized characters.
- Work with rigged characters and troubleshoot animation issues.
- Collaborate with the creative team to bring storyboards and concepts to life.
- Produce animations for advertisements, social media campaigns, product launches, and anamorphic displays.
- Animate body mechanics, facial expressions, lip sync, and character acting.
- Polish animation curves to achieve smooth and natural motion.
- Work closely with lighting, rendering, and compositing artists to ensure production quality.
- Meet project deadlines while maintaining high creative standards.
- Participate in reviews and implement feedback efficiently.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Blender (preferred), Maya, or Cinema 4D.
- Excellent understanding of animation principles, timing, weight, and motion.
- Experience working with rigged characters and animation workflows.
- Good understanding of camera movement and cinematic composition.
- Knowledge of facial animation and lip-sync techniques.
- Ability to wrk with motion capture data is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of lighting, rendering, and compositing.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- experience in 3D character animation.
- Portfolio demonstrating realistic or stylized character animation.
- Experience with commercial advertising, VFX, CGI, or product animation projects.
- Familiarity with Unreal Engine and Adobe After Effects is a plus.
