Candidate should have relevant experience of developing Civil, Structural & Architectural (exposure to other discipline(MEP) 3Dmodelling and design would be an added advantage) 3D modeling, 2D working drawing extraction and detailing, BOQ extraction etc. using Revit, Auto-plant 3D, 3Dmax etc. software for the various applications & projects from different Industry domain specifically from the Chemical, Minerals, Pharma, Food & Beverages Other Manufacturing industries are envisaged.
Candidate from Engineering consulting organization would be the preference.
· Developing design from conceptualization to detail engineering on 3D platform, synchronize with other discipline models to have complete project model
· Run clash detections, optimize/nullify clashes with all relevant disciplines data
· Extracting MTO/BOQ, 2D working drawings and detailing to the level of Issued for Construction Drawing.
· Developing walkthroughs
Responsibilities and Duties
Below are the key responsibilities of 3D Designer,
1. Responsible understanding the project requirement with the help and support of Project and other team members (to the level of Management, if needed) and opening the project design straight from the 3D modeling.
2. Develop LOD100 to LOD500 level models in coordination and synchronization with other relevant disciplines.
3. Develop the specific 3D model to its best accuracy and level of detailing
4. Collect input from other discipline such as Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, etc. and incorporate their inputs to the model in order to have a comprehensive model of specific project / process/ production/ utility line.
5. Check the model for clashes and short out the clashes by coordinating with other discipline team members.
6. Develop various views and walkthrough to present the project at various stage level reviews and joint checks.
7. Organize stage review within the project team as well as client on specific stages of the design development.
8. Extract 2D / 3D working drawings from the model developed and add micro-level detailing to produce Issued For Construction drawings for executing the work on ground.
9. Extract Bill Of Quantities from the model to its best accuracy
10. Render the 3D model to have the realistic image of the project developed
11. Support organization in developing BIM infrastructure in coordination with other team members and support in complete transition to BIM.
12. Work on wide range of BIM features and develop a plan for him/her as well as other team members to keep upgrading on multidisciplinary 3D modelling, BIM and managing project on Cost, Time, Quality and Change management front using BIM.
13. Take lead and spread positivity in handling every challenging situation and project demands.
14. Support BD team in calculating the man hours required for the projects in Bid stages.
15. Support BD team in estimating the cost based on the preliminary model developed during Bid stage of SITC job.
16. Whenever needed, visit the sites (across India / outside India) to collect the site measurements and develop the As-built drawings as per the project requirement.
17. Participate in project Kickoff meeting with project team to ensure alignment between Coenz Project team and Client team in terms of agreed conditions and battery limits of the project.
18. Participate in relevant Project meetings / calls to ensure Coenz Design/Project team is meeting client’s expectations and smooth project delivery with high client satisfaction.
19. Ensure adherence on project deliverable submission timeline defined
20. During the free time slot availability, develop the standard templates/ objects/ sheets / document that can add value to the future assignments of the company and can help in optimizing the time while delivering the project deliverables in actual.
21. Ensure strict adherence to the CIMS (Coenz Integrated Management System) and comply all Quality and Safety procedures. Maintain documentation and its track throughout the project duration.
22. Develop Document Control Register and maintain the submission, approval and revision history in coordination with project coordinator
23. Workout necessary information, quantities and costing for bidding new projects/ change /variation in existing projects.
24. Maintain good relations with existing client and ensure client satisfaction to get repetitive projects.
25. Attend various training programs, seminars and promotional events to upgrade knowledge and data bank of new software, technology, materials, procedures and technics being used/ can be used in improving the safety, quality, workmanship and time consumption in any project.
26. Ensure Project reporting being done on agreed frequency and quality of the project reporting being maintained with relevant and important to capture topics and information.
27. Support Coenz Management and QHS Head during ISO audit in clarifying the Auditor’s queries and present the documents/ works being carried out in compliance to ISO standards.
28. Candidate must be willing to be an active member of Coenz Safety Committee as decided by QHS head and play an active role in ERT.
29. Candidate must spread positivity and demonstrate leadership in his work profile and willing to grow him/herself in multi-direction.
30. Candidate must be open to travel/ stay within / outside India for project purpose.
31. Work closely with Coenz Management & QHS head to improve and maintain the CIMS effectiveness.
Required Qualifications, Experience and Skills
1. ITI / Diploma Civil Engineer
2. Minimum 7years (for ITI) to 3 to 5 Years of experience (for Diploma Civil Engineer)
3. Knowledge and/or experience of working with ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 certified Engineering Consulting company would be an added advantage
4. Understanding of the technical aspects, Project design and development, BOM / Quantity Surveying, Engineering Design and Project Management in order to be able to maintain and improve the system and services time to time.
5. Leadership skills with a strong results-orientation
Design software – Revit, AutoPlant3D, 3D Max, CAD, other relevant Computer proficiency to handle and control his/ her role and responsibility effectively.
