Role Description The 3D Artist will work full time in a hybrid arrangement, with primary on-site responsibilities in Mani Majra and some flexibility for work from home. Day-to-day tasks include creating high-quality 3D models of luxury products, developing detailed textures, and setting up lighting to showcase materials and forms accurately. The role involves preparing 3D assets for visualization, renders, and presentations, as well as collaborating with designers to translate concepts into realistic digital representations. The 3D Artist will refine scenes for still images and animations, optimize files for efficient workflows, and ensure that all visual output aligns with THOU’s brand standards and design direction. Regular coordination with the design and production teams is required to maintain consistency and meet project timelines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in 3D Modeling and Blender to create detailed, production-ready assets.
- Strong skills in Texturing and Lighting to achieve realistic materials and visually compelling renders.
- Experience with Rigging for product interactions, simple animations, or functional demonstrations.
- Portfolio demonstrating high-quality 3D work, preferably in product, luxury, or design-focused projects.
- Ability to interpret design briefs and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail, strong visual sense, and ability to work to brand guidelines and deadlines.
- Relevant degree or certification in 3D art, animation, industrial design, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with additional tools (e.g., rendering engines, image editing software) is an advantage.
