Senior Backend Engineer (Node & Python) - Remote
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (Node & Python) to join our team at 360dialog GmbH. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and reliable backend systems using Node.js and Python. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable and maintainable backend systems using Node.js and Python
- Implement efficient data processing pipelines and APIs
- Optimize system performance and reliability
- Participate in the software development lifecycle, including code reviews, testing, and deployment
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering practices and tools
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in the team
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on Node.js and Python
- Proficient in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures
- Hands-on experience with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka)
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends
