Role Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Connection Design Engineer to join our team in Chennai. This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for preparing and reviewing design calculations, developing connection concepts, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and codes. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with project managers, detailers, and fabricators, and will play a vital role in streamlining structural design solutions to meet project requirements efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Mathcad for connection design
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering (or a related field); Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus
- Proficiency in industry-standard software and familiarity with AISC codes and standards
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in structural connection design.
