Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram for a 2D and 3D Interior Designer. The designer will develop interior layouts and space plans, create detailed 2D drawings, and produce 3D visualizations and renderings to communicate design concepts. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with project teams, preparing construction and presentation drawings, selecting materials and finishes, and coordinating FF&E specifications. The role involves meeting with stakeholders to understand requirements, refining design proposals based on feedback, and ensuring that designs align with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The designer will also support site visits to review implementation and resolve design-related queries as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Interior Design and Architecture, with the ability to translate client requirements into functional, visually appealing concepts.
- Proficient in Space Planning, including circulation, zoning, and ergonomic considerations for residential and commercial projects.
- Ability to prepare accurate Construction Drawings and technical documentation to guide contractors and project teams.
- Experience with FF&E selection and coordination, including finishes, fixtures, furniture, and equipment that align with design intent and budget.
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, or similar) and rendering tools.
- Strong visual presentation skills, including mood boards, material boards, and digital presentations.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and interact with clients and vendors.
- Attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field preferred; prior studio or on-site experience is an advantage.
