Our people make all the difference in our success. This role will be a People Manager with who has experience in Java Developer developing RESTful, Microservices and deploying in on prem and AWS infrastructure using the technologies listed below. They are expected to work closely with Subject Matter Experts, developers, technical project managers, principal engineers and business stakeholders to ensure that application solutions meet business/customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead a fast-moving agile team, working with internally developed tools and technologies such as Java/J2EE,Springboot, Oracle, SQL, SOA/REST, Cloud Technologies, ITIL. Have good understanding of Mainframe Modernization in migrating applications from Mainframe to distributed technologies.
- Support other product delivery partners in the successful build, test, and release of solutions.
- Solve problems by crafting software solutions using maintainable and modular code.
- Lead daily team standup meetings where you'll give and receive updates on the current backlog and challenges.
- Provides thought leadership and technical expertise across the PBM technology organization.
- Utilize end-to-end knowledge of product ecosystem, business transactions, technology stack, dependencies, and engineering practices to ensure applications are designed and constructed using solid engineering patterns.
- Encourage innovation and diversity of thought to solve complex business problems.
- Partner with business and technical product owners to optimize working relationships and clarify roles and responsibilities.
- Takes accountability for the technology assets owned by the team
Required Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

- Strong interpersonal/relationship management skills.
- Strong time and project management skills.
- Familiarity with agile methodology including SCRUM team leadership.
- Familiarity with modern delivery practices such as continuous integration, behavior/test driven development, and specification by example.
- Experience in supporting applications that are built on Java Spring Boot.
- Experience in building REST APIs/Microservices
- Understanding of Mainframe workload migration to distributed platform.
- Strong understanding of parallel processing, concurrency and asynchronous concepts
- Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL
- Proficient in internal integration within AWS ecosystem using Lambda functions, leveraging services such as Event Bridge, S3, SQS, SNS, and others.
- Experienced in internal integration within AWS using DynamoDB with Lambda functions, demonstrating the ability to architect and implement robust serverless applications.
- CI/CD experience: must have GitHub experience
Required Experience & Education:
- 12 - 14 years of professional experience including people leader experience.
- Must have a Bachelor of Computer Engineering degree
- Proven experience leading/managing technical teams with a passion for the developing the talent within the team.
- Experience with vendor management in an onshore/offshore model.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Preferred: Industry certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master, or Six Sigma Green Belt
Location & Hours of Work
- Full-time position, working 45 hours per week. Expected overlap with US hours as appropriate
- Primarily based in the Innovation Hub in Hyderabad, India in a hybrid working model (3 days WFO and 2 days WAH)
