We are looking for an experienced Business Process Consultant (BPC) specializing in ServiceNow SAM Pro to drive software asset management strategy, governance, compliance, and process transformation initiatives for enterprise customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Software Asset Management process consulting engagements.
- Manage the end-to-end software asset lifecycle including procurement, deployment, usage, renewals, and retirement.
- Define and implement SAM governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
- Ensure software license compliance across vendors such as Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, IBM, Adobe, and Citrix.
- Support software vendor audits and internal compliance reviews.
- Analyse software usage and recommend optimization and cost-saving opportunities.
- Work closely with procurement, finance, and IT teams for renewals, true-ups, and contract negotiations.
- Conduct customer workshops, discovery sessions, and “art of possible” discussions.
- Gather, analyze, and map business requirements to ServiceNow platform capabilities.
- Prepare and present compliance, usage, and executive-level reports to stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Drive CMDB and SAM Pro process maturity initiatives.
- Collaborate with technical teams for implementation and process alignment.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6–10 years of experience with ServiceNow in roles such as Business Analyst, Consultant, or Process Consultant.
- Strong functional expertise in ServiceNow SAM Pro and CMDB.
- Deep understanding of software licensing and compliance management.
- Experience with publisher licensing models including Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, IBM, Adobe, and Citrix.
- Strong knowledge of SAM processes, governance, and operational frameworks.
- Experience managing global enterprise ServiceNow deployments.
- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
- Experience conducting workshops, requirement gathering, and solution consulting sessions.
- Knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, and ServiceNow platform capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow SAM Pro Certification
- ITIL Certification
- CIS-SAM certification preferred
- Experience with cloud/SaaS license management (Azure, M365, AWS)
