About Your Role as the HVAC Service Field Manager:
We are seeking a motivated, hands-on leader to oversee our service team in a fast-paced environment. This is a key leadership role with strong growth potential.
You’ll be responsible for leading technicians in the field, improving performance, and ensuring every job is completed with excellence. You are the connection between leadership and the field—the person who sets the tone, drives accountability, and supports the team’s success.
Requirements for the HVAC Service Field Manager:
- 5+ years of HVAC service experience (residential and/or commercial)
- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, diagnostics, and service best practices
- Ability to lead, coach, and develop a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities for the HVAC Service Field Manager:
Working closely with leadership and dispatch, you will help drive technician performance, service quality, and overall department success.
- Lead and manage day-to-day service operations in the field
- Conduct ride-alongs to coach technicians on technical skills, communication, and closing opportunities
- Ensure technicians follow the full service process on every call
- Monitor and improve technician performance, including sales, revenue, and customer satisfaction
- Partner with dispatch to maximize scheduling efficiency and opportunity
- Inspect jobs to ensure quality, accuracy, and completion standards are met
- Train, mentor, and develop technicians to grow their skills and confidence
- Help recruit, onboard, and retain top talent
- Resolve escalated customer concerns in a professional manner
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Oversee truck stock, inventory, and overall field readiness
