As a QA Automation Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of modern SaaS, web, and mobile applications. You will be responsible for building robust automation frameworks, leveraging AI-driven testing tools, and embedding quality across the entire product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies covering web, mobile, and API layers.
Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright, Appium Selenium, or similar modern tools.
Execute cross-browser and cross-device testing using platforms like LambdaTest.
Leverage AI-powered testing tools such as Testim (or similar) to improve test stability, reduce flakiness, and accelerate test creation.
Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing across applications.
Develop and automate API test suites using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent frameworks.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and DevOps teams to define acceptance criteria and test coverage.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) to enable continuous testing.
Conduct root cause analysis for defects and ensure proper tracking, prioritization, and resolution using tools like Jira.
Enforce QA best practices, including shift-left testing, test data management, and environment validation.
Perform performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter, k6, or similar.
Validate mobile applications (iOS & Android) across real devices and emulators.
Ensure high-quality releases by participating in sprint planning, grooming, and release cycles.
- Create and maintain test documentation, reports, and dashboards for stakeholders.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to building a strong quality culture.
Required Skills & Experience
3–5+ years of experience in QA for SaaS, web, and mobile applications.
Strong hands-on experience with modern automation tools, especially Playwright (preferred).
Experience with cross-browser testing platforms like LambdaTest or BrowserStack.
Familiarity with AI-driven testing tools such as Testim, Mabl, or similar.
Solid understanding of API testing (REST/SOAP) and automation frameworks.
Experience with CI/CD integration and DevOps practices.
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java for test automation.
Strong experience with test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr) and defect tracking (Jira).
Knowledge of SQL and database validation techniques.
Experience in performance testing and identifying bottlenecks in distributed systems.
- Understanding of security testing basics (authentication, authorization, vulnerabilities).
- Strong analytical thinking, debugging skills, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in agile environments.
