Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a DGCA Certified Remote Pilot specializing in fixed-wing UAV operations at Shaurya Forge Pvt Ltd, Pune District. The Remote Pilot will be responsible for operating fixed-wing UAVs, mission planning, pre-flight and post-flight checks, maintaining compliance with DGCA regulations, and ensuring the safety of all UAV operations. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues, performing routine maintenance, training on UAV systems, and assisting in the development of operational strategies for UAV deployment in defence and strategic missions.
Qualifications
- Possess a valid DGCA Remote Pilot License and experience in operating fixed-wing UAVs.
- Proficiency in UAV mission planning, pre-flight/post-flight checks, and safety protocols.
- Solid understanding of UAV hardware, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of DGCA aviation rules and compliance requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to challenging operational scenarios.
- Capability to work collaboratively on defence and aerospace projects, including strategy development and mission support solutions.
- Familiarity with AI-based technologies or autonomous systems is an advantage.
- Military background and operational experience with UAVs will be highly regarded.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
