📋Role Overview:
We are looking for our client an experienced Senior Snowflake Data Engineer / Lead Snowflake Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake, dbt, Advanced SQL, Python, ETL/ELT, data modeling, and data quality.
The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing scalable data pipelines, transforming raw data into curated and analytics-ready datasets, building dimensional and semantic data models, and ensuring high standards of data quality and performance.
The role involves close collaboration with Data Architects, technical leads, client stakeholders, and engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable data solutions.

Important: Candidates must have strong hands-on Snowflake and dbt engineering experience. Profiles that are primarily focused on Azure, Databricks, or BI with only basic Snowflake/dbt exposure will not be suitable.
🔧Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake, dbt, SQL, and Python.
- Build and optimize data transformation workflows in Snowflake.
- Develop curated data layers by transforming raw data into consumption-ready and analytics-ready datasets.
- Design and maintain dimensional, semantic, and analytical data models.
- Develop reusable dbt models, incremental models, tests, macros, and documentation.
- Perform Snowflake DDL, DML, query optimization, performance tuning, and data sharing.
- Implement data validation, reconciliation, profiling, and data-quality frameworks.
- Configure and manage system integrations for data ingestion and onboarding.
- Work with object storage, data lakes, and lakehouse architectures.
- Perform data onboarding, cleansing, transformation, and validation workflows.
- Use Git/version control and follow standard development and deployment practices.
- Document data flows, transformation logic, data models, and quality metrics.
- Collaborate with Data Architects and Leads on pipeline architecture, engineering standards, and best practices.
- Work directly with client stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
- Communicate technical trade-offs, recommendations, and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- 6+ years of relevant Data Engineering / Analytics Engineering experience.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate technical trade-offs and recommendations effectively.
