Venture Launcher is building an AI‑powered platform that connects founders with investors and manufacturers to help them launch faster. We’ve finished Phase 1 (founder–investor matchmaking) and are now working on Phase 2 (founder–manufacturer matchmaking).
We’re looking for 1–2 backend developer interns who want to learn by building a real product used by founders.
Role: Backend Developer Intern
Location: Remote
Type: Unpaid, part‑time (ideal for college students)
Duration: 2–3 months (flexible around your college schedule)
What you’ll work on:
- Building and improving backend APIs for founder–investor and founder–manufacturer matchmaking
- Working with databases, authentication, and clean API design
- Integrating AI/ML services built by our AI engineer into the backend
- Writing clean, documented code and collaborating with the core team
You’re a good fit if you:
- Are currently a college student (any year)
- Have basic experience with any backend stack (Node.js/Express, Django/FastAPI, or similar)
- Know how to work with REST APIs and databases (SQL or NoSQL)
- Are curious, reliable, and excited to learn by shipping real features
- Can give at least 10–15 hours per week
