Job Summary:
The Loan Servicing Analyst is responsible for processing and supporting end‑to‑end loan servicing activities across Bilateral, Participation, and UKPLC loan products. The role involves accurate transaction processing, reconciliation, servicing of complex loan structures, and ensuring compliance with internal controls, SLAs, and audit requirements. The incumbent will work closely with team leads and stakeholders to ensure smooth daily operations and timely delivery of month‑end and quarter‑end activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Process daily loan servicing activities for Bilateral, Participation, and UKPLC loans with a high degree of accuracy in line with established SOPs.
- Perform data entry, validation, and reconciliation of loan transactions, ensuring all system records are accurate and complete.
- Manage complex loan facility structures, including:
- LIBOR / NCCR (risk‑free rates) linked loans
- PIK (Payment‑in‑Kind) interest components
- Fees, Letters of Credit (LOCs), Guarantees, and Bonds
- Handle drawdowns, repayments, rate resets, interest calculations, accruals, and reconciliations throughout the loan lifecycle.
- Conduct basic quality checks, promptly identify discrepancies, and escalate issues in accordance with escalation protocols.
- Ensure timely completion of tasks within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and operational timelines.
- Support month‑end and quarter‑end close activities, including reconciliations, reporting, and control checks.
- Collaborate with team leads and cross‑functional teams to resolve operational issues and improve process efficiency.
- Maintain strict adherence to process guidelines, data security policies, and audit/compliance requirements.
- Manage and respond to mailbox queries with clear, professional, and timely communication.
- Participate in knowledge sharing, team huddles, refresher trainings, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 2–6 years of experience in loan servicing, loan operations, or banking operations (experience level can be adjusted).
- Prior experience handling commercial loans, syndicated loans, or structured lending products is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of loan servicing processes and loan lifecycle management
- Knowledge of LIBOR / RFR transitions (SOFR, NCCR, etc.)
- Experience with interest calculations, reconciliations, and control checks
- Proficiency in loan servicing systems and MS Excel.
