About Venture Launcher
Venture Launcher is building a platform that connects startups and investors using AI-based matchmaking. We use an AI prediction model to score "fit" between startups and investors, and offer a community space for founders and investors to interact and share updates.
We are pre-funding and very early-stage, so this is your chance to build the first version of the product from scratch with the founding team.
Who we're looking for (College students only)
We're looking for current college students (any year, any degree) who:
- Are serious about becoming UI/UX or Product Designers
- Want real 0→1 startup experience instead of just classroom projects
- Are comfortable with an unpaid, remote, part-time founding role for now
Must-have:
- Currently in college (UG/PG) – design, engineering, or related fields
- Basic experience with Figma (wireframes + simple UI screens)
- At least 1–2 UI/UX projects (college, personal, hackathon, or freelance)
- Can commit 10–15 hours per week for 3 months
Nice-to-have:
- Interest in startups, investing, or SaaS products
- Interest in AI products (chatbots, recommendation systems, etc.)
- Familiarity with user research and usability testing basics
What you will do
As a Founding Student UI/UX Designer, you will:
- Design core flows for founders and investors: onboarding, profiles, matchmaking, messaging, community
- Create wireframes, user flows, and clickable prototypes in Figma
- Help define our early design system (colors, typography, components)
- Work directly with the founder and developers to iterate fast on designs
- Talk to real users (founders/investors) and improve UX based on feedback
You'll be treated as a founding team member, not just an intern.
